The ABB AF65 is a 3-pole contactor from the ABB AF Range, rated 65 A at AC-3 motor duty and 105 A at AC-1 general switching duty. The 250-500V AC/DC wide-range coil accepts both AC and DC control supply within a single coil unit — eliminating separate AC and DC part numbers and ensuring reliable pick-up and hold-in across the large voltage fluctuations common in industrial networks. Built-in surge suppression is included as standard, removing the need for an external varistor. The block-type design accepts snap-on auxiliary contact blocks and a broad range of ABB accessories, making the AF Range easy to extend and adapt for different control circuit requirements.
